Is your site self-hosted? I’m not sure why some of you comic people don’t get in on the advertising. You’d make a killing… or at least enough money to buy a pack of gum.
Yes, I self host. I have ads on my other site, and on the wombat parts of Wombania. If you truly want to mine the riches of the internet, I suggest you add more wombats to your site. You’d be amazed at the amazing traffic & financial rewards wombats can bring you.
15,000 hits a month. Gosh I only get around 20 to 60 a day on average
I have had my site for a little over two years, so that does help in the hits department.
Last year a Glenn Beck post I did pulled in tons of hits.
This year, for some odd reason it is cute little kittens that is pulling in twice as much as Glenn Beck.
Keep at blogging and those hits will come. Plus focus on the community aspect more than hits. Blogging is more enjoyable when you guys visit me.
Actually we’re just looking for the free food. Still haven’t found it, though. It must be hidden around here somewhere. . .
