Are you looking for the very best social media widgets for your website? A great social media widget can make it super simple to turn visitors into returning readers! I recommend the 2 following social media widgets to increase your subscribers and followers.
Advanced Social Widget
For only 8 dollars you can have an awesome social media widget with tons of features.
Set Up the Social Media Widget
Choose the width for the social media widget.- Give your widget a title. You will notice in my sidebar that I chose Subscribe for Free and Boost Your Dummy IQ! as my title.
- I recommend that the social networking icons open in a new window so that your readers don’t leave your blog.
- Your blog traffic can share your posts to Google Plus, so go ahead and activate that option.
- Activate the social networking icons.
- You have the option to display titles under the icons.
- Fill in the info required for Delicious, Twitter, Facebook, Stumbleupon, and Feedburner.
- Save your settings.
Here is what the Advanced Social Widget will look like in your sidebar.

If you like this widget then please go to Advanced Social Widget to purchase.
WordPress Social Counters & Ranking
I won’t show you how to set up the WordPress Social Counters & Rankings but I did want to share with you the features.
Features
- Only 6 dollars, making it 2 bucks cheaper than the Advanced Social Widget.
- Email Subscription Box at the top of the widget.
- Display Twitter Followers.
- Display Facebook Fans.
- Display your Feedburner Subscribers.
- Display Youtube Subscribers.
- Display Digg Followers (Digg is dead, right).
- Display Forrest Followers.
- Display Stack Overflow Reputation.
- Display Google Page Rank.
- Display Alexa Rank.
The one thing I do like better with this widget over the Advanced Social Widget is the ability to display subscriber count. If you like this one better or just want to save two dollars, then go to WordPress Social Counters & Rankings to purchase.
Which social media widget do you prefer? Share in the comments.
PS: These widgets will not work on WordPress.com blogs.

I’d probably go with the first one only because of the g+ integration.
Bearman, I can see your face!
I think some of these widgets haven’t intergrated Google Plus into their widgets because of something to do with API not being released to the public yet.
You’ll notice on the widget that you and I prefer that the Google Plus is only for sharing and not for adding you to a circle.
I am sure that the creators of this widget will update that option once it becomes available.
Actually it doesn’t appear to be for sharing an individual post but for increasing the Google pluses. Hmm…
Hahaha…
I’m not sure I want to further advertise any of my numbers, though.
For at least another decade or so.
Just a little time to catch-up.
@SpilledInkGuy Hmm… not sure I should be advertising mine either.
Social widgets? Is that PC?
@Binky
Must I explain everything to you wombies?
Have you been to: http://www.ladenzeile.de/Wombies
They rank right above you in Google for the search term “wombies”
I think it is time you declare war
@Scholar Mel That must be some crazy Europe thing! No one ranks above Wombania where I live!
Yep, but wordpress.com has gotten better with their options, widgets and themes since I last used it.
1st I purchased it from Code Canyon: http://goo.gl/8YMjz
2nd I downloaded it.
3rd Open up the folder you downloaded. You should see two things: a regular folder and a zip folder. Go to your wordpress dashboard and upload the zip folder.
4th Once you activate it, then go to your widgets and drop it in your sidebar.
Let me know if that helps. If not, then let me know where you’re getting stuck.
