Difficult Nintendo Games Of The 1980′s That I Conquered Without Game Genie: Castlevania II
I will admit that I had to use a player’s guide at one point. With sidescrolling games one depends on the current screen to move to the next screen.
At one point I reached a deadend. In front of me was a wall. How did I get pass this?
I purchased a player’s guide from Wal-Mart. My player’s guide did not contain pretty little photos pointing out where to go. At age 11 I had to read plain text and try and figure out what they were talking about. ~Scholar Mel November 10, 2011
What is the most difficult game of the 1980′s that you conquered?

Hmm…
I don’t remember ‘Simon’s Quest’.
I’ve probably blocked it out.
As it no doubt conquered me.
What!? How do you not remember Simon’s Quest?
You were probably more of a Battle Toads type of kid weren’t you?
“Tempest” was hard for me. I had a hard time with spinning the knob precisely.
Temptest? Was that a nintendo game?
It wasan Atari game.

Ah, very old school
Machine language programming. Actually, it wasn’t that difficult.
Your parents only bought you the boring Nintendo games huh?
This post brings back a lot of memories.. I miss my Nintendo
I do miss the simplicity of how games used to be. Simple but difficult.
I agree with the rest of them. I miss my nintendo too. I miss the laughing dog on Duck Hunt. I try hard as I could but could never shoot that bad dog.
