Dead Woman Refuses To Pay Past Rent?
How dare this dead woman not giving her landlord enough notice that she was going to move!! Let us just forget that this lady and her 17 year old son were murdered on Dec. 24 by an insane man dressed up as Santa Clause. Go ahead and read the last sentence before moving on.
Now in all seriousness how dare the landlord for wanting to receive $2,821 from a lady who was murdered. You thought that was dumb listen to this. Since she can’t receive the money from somebody who is dead (who would have thought it) she is going after this lady’s ex-husband for the money.
The ex-husband had to travel and get his two daughters and pack up their belongings so they could move in with him. I am sure he had to help take care of the funeral/burial. He has to go through a grieving process, while helping his daughter through one and some landlord is trying to collect money.
My Thoughts And Yours
Okay, on a scale of 1-10 (10 being highest) how dumb is the landlord? Do you think the landlord should be able to collect? If you said yes then the next question is NOT for you. If anybody answered yes to the last question how dumb is that person?
not dumb bur incredibly evil. And unless the woman’s ex-husband or someone else was on the lease, then she’s dead out of luck.
Even if the ex-husband was on the lease the landlord would have to be unethical to seek rent money in this situation.
