I am really fluent in English. Why is this? Simple really. See I was born in America. At one time English use to be the spoken language. I can’t really write this language as you can see by reading this post but I sure can speak it!
Right now I am trying to learn my second language and this in my 30′s.

Do you have any tips on learning a second language?
Does Klingon count? Wombanese? I can speak many languages, unfortunately they’re just ones I made up.
Those count if you plan on writing fantasy/fiction novels.
I can speak many languages…but only a few select words and I can’t understand you so don’t try to conversate in any of them.

I can speak in English. Puedo hablar en Español. Iway ancay eakspay inway igpay atinlay.

I can speak English & Australian + Australian with the Tasmanian dialect. I tried to learn French at school, failed at that. Tried to learn Spanish a few years ago, was hopeless at that too.
I have been watching a series on TV Sunday nights about the development of the English language over the centuries. Last Sunday’s episode was about English being adapted in America since European settlement. Very interesting show & I think a lot of Americanized words are spelt far more sensibly that “Proper” English. Eg You spell Center we spell it Centre. Jail vs Gaol there are many other examples

I found that I was too obsessive compulsive about being able to fiddle around with so much stuff. For me self hosting was much more time consuming & I wasn’t having enough time to spend visiting all my bloggy friend’s blogs. Now back at WP.com I can concentrate on just posting stuff & visiting others & the WP.com team takes care of all the behind the scenes stuff. I don’t need all the other stuff that comes with self hosting so figgered there was no use paying out for hosting if I don’t really need it.
