But from my observation it looked pretty honest. Phoenix acted goofed up on something. And the beard and even his nose looked comestic. I like Letterman and am a true fan of Phoenix. Phoenix was TRULY dreadful. When Schaffer laughed (I'm sure out of embarrasement) Phonenix snapped at cursed at him.
