Nick Mitchell Is Not The Next American Idol Or Is He?

I missed last nights episode of American Idol because I had to go purchase a pizza from Little Caesars.  Tonight I missed the results show because I, uh, was watching Ugly Betty with my wife.  Yes it was my wife’s fault that I was watching Ugly Betty (*cough*).

I just found out on Google News that Nick Mitchell was not selected as one of the three contestants of the week to move forward on American Idol.  He is not your typical singer.  You know the type, right?  Most of the singers get up on stage and just say WO WO WO WO over and over.  Nick Mitchell was more funny than anything.  There is still hope for him though because Simon, Randy, Paula and Kara will select three wild cards that didn’t make it to advance.

Should Nick Mitchell move forward as a wildcard or would that be a dumb move on the part of the judges?
