No Hope Found In Family Murder Suicides

Our economy sucks!  I don’t think anybody will dispute this fact.  Unfortunately some people resort to the most extreme form of escapism, which is suicide.  This past week two different families have decided to end it all.  Well at least one person from each family made the decision.  The first was a family in California.  The dad and mother both lost their jobs.  The father solution was to take the life of his five children and wife before killing himself.  The second one was in Ohio.  The story at the time is that the father took the life of his two children, wife and then himself.

My Thoughts And Yours

This life is difficult but killing yourself and your family are not an option.  What do you think causes a person to get this far?  Could this be the extreme example of “Pride Comes Before A Fall.”  Is it pride or is it shame or is it a little of both?

This is on Dummies Of The Year because these husbands/fathers made a dumb mistake.  It is also no doubt some of the saddest news I have heard this week.
