Oklahoma Renaissance Festival 2009

Prepare Thyself For Merriment

I am going to the 14th annual Oklahoma Renaissance Festival this May.  The first one I ever went to was the 7th annual.  The last 7 years have flown by and so much has happened.  I have been to a handful of renaissance festivals mostly in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  I went to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival 4 years ago but didn’t really dig it.  There were too many of us compared to the number of actors they had.  In Muskogee one is constantly being bombarded with actors, which makes the whole experience that much better.  Also the man (John Auld) playing King Henry VIII is a monk, I believe, in Kansas City.  King you are awesome!!
