Palmolive has a new line of gel dishwasher detergent and it isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. At first glance it seems great because of their claims.
- Phosphate Free
- Better for Lakes and Streams
- Citrus Apple Splash Sent (whatever that means)
- Cleans to a SPARKLING SHINE
It probably is phosphate free which would make it better for lakes and streams. The smell is not that of apples or citrus but of soap, which makes sense because that is precisely what it is.
The big fail for me is that it leaves a white residue on all of my plastic dishes. On the front it says that it cleans to a sparkling shine. I don’t expect my plastic dishes to sparkle but I don’t want them to have white residue on them.
Palmolive ECO is a FAIL.
