Spilled Ink Guy is an inspiration to all of us wannabe photographers. The above photo was taken with my Canon Power Shot A580 and slightly modified in Picasa 3.
I would love to add this photo to my photo blog that I started last month and which I will only reveal to you once I get my dream theme.
Pro Photo Theme
Pro Photo Theme is a brand new theme for displaying one’s photographs. 8BIT is the creator of this awesome theme. I keep wishing for $100 so I can purchase it but what they say is true, “money doesn’t grow on trees.”
I am an affiliate for 8BIT. I only need two of these themes sold through my affiliate account in order to be able to afford my dream theme! So if you are interested in purchasing this theme and you want to help a poor man out you can do one of two things:
- Click the Pro Photo Theme picture above.
- Click the 125 x 125 ad in the sidebar that says “Pro Photo Theme“
Click either of these and purchase the theme and I will be closer to getting one myself.
You might be thinking, “why give away your plan, I think I might steal it!” Go for it. I was just hoping you would feel sorry for poor old Mel.

Jeez-o-Pete, that’s sure a kind thing for you to say, Mel – thank you so much! I’m a little flabbergasted!
Sweet shot, too! So serene… ahhhhh.
Unfortunately I’m a bit poor at the moment, too (with each passing day I feel myself getting a little poorer, too)! I sure hope you snatch up that theme soon, though, because I’m really looking forward to seeing more of your awesome work, sir!
Thanks for the complement on the photo
Totally understand about being poor.
Of course! It’s a great shot, Mel!
Being poor too, I always search for freeware programs I can use. Perhaps you could find a free theme that does most of what you want?
I already have a theme I am paying for since I get all of my themes through Elegant Themes.
I want the one above because it is exactly what I am looking for.
Wombies don’t make much money?
If you could learn CSS formatting, you could write your own theme for free.
Only if…
I think it is more than just CSS to making a theme right?
That is cool and I would think about it but I am trying to find one that does image archives (much like their thumbnail list) but allow people to click on the image and it goes to the blog post and not to the next image.
Hmm… I wonder if that is actually possible on this theme or if it is not I wonder how hard it is to customize so that it could.
I’m slightly retarded and don’t understand this. Please explain as if your speaking to a 5-year-old. When posting pics you find online, do you need to purchse them first? Is this why pics I’ve copied and pasted into my posts are disappearing? Am I stealing and just don’t know it?
I NEVER just copy and paste an image I find on the internet because when one does this they end up stealing bandwidth from the one who is hosting the image.
If I do find an image I want to use I always drag it to my desktop and then upload it into my wordpress site.
The way I do it may not be the most ethical but I’m also not causing a person to run the chance of their account getting suspended.
I use to do this before I found out what I was doing.
Did that answer your question Yam? If not, please rephrase it as if I was only 4-years-old.
Thanks for dumbing it down for me…appreciate it.
Thankfully, I accidentally only stole a picture of Fun Dip and Hershey’s chocolate milk. I’m hoping this won’t land me in the slammer.
I love these pictures but I’m just not sure how I would use them right now.
Fun Dip and Hershey’s chocolate milk pictures? I want the real thing
OK I clicked on both the things. I couldn’t afford to buy it so wondering do you get any bonus points just for clicks??? Nice cloud photo too.
Are you aware of the Skywatch Friday group http://skyley.blogspot.com/ kinda like wordless wednesday but sky photos.
I sadly don’t get anything for clicks
But thanks for trying
Thanks for the compliment!
I don’t know about Skywatch Friday. I’ll have to check it out.
It must be like selling Tupperware!
Nice photo Mel.
