In case you are wondering who Dr. Tiller is he is (was) one of three men who would perform abortions after 21 weeks of pregnancy.  The lady in the picture thinks Dr. Tiller is an American Hero.  She just put him in the same class as our men and women who go off to war.  Dr. Tiller may have up held the law but the law doesn’t always make sense.  For instance a baby is considered a fetus if he/she is to be aborted but he/she all of a sudden becomes an unborn human if he/she is murdered (mom punched in stomach and baby dies for example) before birth.

Dummies Of The Year

Who deserves the Dummy Of The Year award?  Dr. Tiller for aborting babies or this lady in the photo holding the sign?

While on Facebook I noticed that somebody invited me to this game.  I checked it out in my Safari browser and thought how lame it looked.  It was mainly text.  I had somebody show me Mafia Wars again a few days ago but this time I was in the Flock browser.  What a difference.  This time waster actually looked half way decent.

Mafia Wars Junkie, Not Really

I wouldn’t say I am a Mafia Wars Junkie.  I have fiddled with it for a couple of days and I am at a level 11 almost 12.  What’s the point of the game?  You are a member of the mafia.  Just like on Facebook one can have people become their friend, one can join your mafia while increasing your strength, which helps in fights and to earn money.  One can earn money by fighting, do jobs, robbing people or earning businesses.  It is basically just an RPG because the whole point is to level up to the next, well, level.  The downside to the game is if a person has a problem with spending money.  The mafia participant doesn’t earn any real money but they can buy reward points from the Godfather… just bring your credit card.

Dumb Thoughts

Have you played this game and if so how dumb do you think it is?  Have you or do you know anybody who has actually purchased the reward points.  How many marriages do you think have ended in divorce because a husband has spent their life savings on reward points?

Did you ever think you would be offered to buy a snuggy for $20 dollars?  You might have paid $20 dollars for somebody else to get one but you would never pay for one.  Well it seems a snuggie is now a piece of fleece that you can wear like a hospital gown.

*Attention* This is your chance to leave a comment: Do you think naming this product Snuggie is a dumb idea?  Would a person be dumb for spending $20 dollars on it?  Remember that if you buy one snuggie they will give you a snuggie for free… ouch

Here is the gist of an article I read just now.  One lady, of the *Muslim faith, said to her friend, “It would not be safe to sit next to the engine in case of an accident.” The girl in the next seat heard the lady say this and told her parents that this lady said, “sitting near the engines would not be safe in the event of an accident or an explosion.” Eventually this commotion reaches the pilot.  Officials are informed and 9 people of the Muslim faith are taken off the flight for security purposes.  They checkout okay, are offended, and book a flight with another airline company.

Dumb Thoughts

Who is the biggest dummy? The lady of the Muslim faith for talking about the dangers of sitting next to the engine in case of an accident? The girl for misquoting what the lady said? Or AirTran for responding the way they did? *I have no beef with people of the Muslim faith.
