Obviously there were British kids shows we loved as well but I have odd/fond memories of my dad having to manually blow up a turtle blimp thing on xmas morning (which caused him to turn blue it took so much of his breath away). We also looked very fetching in our ninja turtle costumes, complete with fake swords and stuff. But yeah, god knows how a generation who grew up with talking turtles, rats and a brain inside the body of another man were effected mentally!!
