WordPress Blogs Of The Day Are Kinda Crappy

I was just scrolling through the WordPress Blogs of the Day and I have to say that I am a bit confused.  There seems to be quite a few crappy blogs with no talent that some how make it to the WordPress Blogs of the Day.  If it takes no talent then why WordPress crew, why oh why has Dummies Of The Year not made it to this status?

For clarification I do have to say that from time to time I do see worthy blogs on the WordPress Blog of the Day but most of the time the “WordPress Special Formula” really makes no sense whatsoever.  Okay, I am now done talking about WordPress Blogs of the Day until next month.

I will have to completely agree here. The botd's are pretty crappy. There isn't anything that really stand out of the crowd.... ever.

Dummies of the Year should be on Blogs of the Day!

At least it's not like Blogger, though, where the only way to publicize your blog is to get it on a ridiculously small list of 'Blogs of Note'. That's why I love WordPress.com :D

This was just my monthly rant. I to appreciate WordPress so much more than blogger. I am still waiting to see your blog on Blogs of the Day, not because it is crappy but because it is actually really good, different and unique.

I really think the main contributor to getting on the BOTD is hits. 1500-2000 visits a day for a few days how could WP deny a persons blog... I am no where near that many hits.
